Continuously transposed cable (CTC)
Continuously Transposed Cable (CTC) is a type of winding wire, which continuously weaved by some strips of insulated rectangular wire according to two stacks arrangement, via special insulated materials. Mainly be used in manufacturing windings of large-Scale oil-immersed power transformersreactorsand large-capacity dry type transformers.
Using CTC to manufacture transformers, increases space factor, reduces cost due to reduction of volume, more important is that reduces circumfluence loss and eddy loss due to magnetic loss, simultaneous improves mechanical strength of windingshortens winding time.
Materials
Single enameled conductor
Polyvinyl acetal enameled rectangular copper conductor, index 120155
Polyvinyl acetal over coated bondable epoxy resin rectangular copper conductor, index 120
Polyvinyl acetal enameledhardened rectangular copper conductor
Polyvinyl acetal over coated bondable epoxy resinhardened rectangular copper conductor
Polyesterimide enameled rectangular copper conductor, index 180
According to different electric insulation requirement to select Grade 1 enamel 0.08-0.11mm or Grade 2 enamel 0.12-0.16mm. Generally, epoxy resin increase of epoxy enameled rectangular wire is about 0.03-0.05mm.
Our company adopts medium wearing instrument (tgδ) to filter enameling technics, makes enamel solidify more perfect.
If special enamel thickness required or use other types enameled wire, please contact with us.
Soft copper used for enameled rectangular wire shall conform to GB5584.2-85,the resistivity is not more than 0.01724Ω?mm2/m at 20°.According to different mechanical strength, below proof stress Rp0.2is recommended:
C1 Rp0.2(>100~180)N/ mm2
C2 Rp0.2(>180~220)N/ mm2
C3 Rp0.2(>220~260)N/ mm2
