Continuously Transposed Conductors
CTC provides a ready-insulated and tightly packed array of conductors for building transformer coils which are suitable for use in the manufacturing of medium and ultra-high power transformers and reactors.
Advantages
· Shortened winding time for the core of transformer
· Decreased size and weight of the transformer and reduce the cost
· Reduced eddy and circulating current losses
· Excellent coil performance and simplified winding processing
· Improved mechanical strength of winding ( Hardened self-bonding CTC)
Production Range
· Number of strands 5 - 87
· Width of strand 3.0 - 14.0mm
· Thickness of strand 1.1 - 3.0mm
